All Elite Wrestling gets attention without really even doing anything.
The new AEW company was announced this week, and subsequently have been under a microscope for every movement, statement and Twitter follow, and vice versa. This was the case on Wednesday when the official All In/Double or Nothing account followed former WWE and WCW star Bill Goldberg, and Goldberg himself followed the All Elite Wrestling account.
Twitter would go on to share some solid hot takes based on the follow:
get ready for all your aew favs to squashed by goldberg in two minutes or less. https://t.co/6wkOR9j7VT

Hopefully Goldberg is just in a management role or an authority figure if he is signed. AEW needs to be fresh talent. https://t.co/OsEzKPZsBf

If AEW signs Bill Goldberg they have my interest

In the few days since it was announced, I've read that Goldberg, Jericho, Barry Bloom, Jim Ross, Ted Turner, and Time Warner are all involved. I believe NONE of that. I've also read AEW will air on Mondays and raid WWE for talent. I believe NONE of that either.

Chris Jericho. Bill Goldberg, Gail Kim, Deonna Purrazzo, Tessa Blanchard & Chelsea Green are following the AEW account 0_0

AEW is really out here trying to get Bill Goldberg? Give that man the full start up budget of $100 million.

Thus far, no news has been announced and he hasn't wrestled in nearly two years. Fightful has reached out to several sources close to both parties, but haven't heard back.
