Allie Katch suffered an unfortunate injury early in her match with EFFY at The People vs. GCW.
The match between the former tag team partners was set to determine who would challenge Mance Warner for the GCW World Championship in the main event of that same show. Very early into the match, Allie Katch attempted a Suicide Dive but landed awkwardly, indicating that she twisted her foot. The match was immediately stopped, and EFFY was declared the winner.
Mance Warner then came out to attack EFFY while Allie was attended to, slamming him through a table. At the same time, GCW owner Brett Lauderdale announced that Allie was declared to be injured. The injury wasn't specified.

In a post on X, EFFY wished his former partner well, despite the storyline tension between them.
He stated that he would go on to the main event and fight for both he and her has sometimes, you have to go with the flow.
