Andrade El Idolo Debuts On AEW Dynamite, Says He'll Be The New Face Of AEW

Andrade El Idolo has arrived in AEW.

On the June 4 episode of Dynamite, Mark Henry came out and spoke for the first time since being unveiled by the company at Double or Nothing. He said that he is going to turn the screws and help make AEW and Rampage, the show where he'll be serving as an analyst, as good as possible. When asked by Tony Schiavone if we could see him in the ring again, Henry said that he is not going to say yes, but that he still has a lot left in the tank.

They were then interrupted by Vickie Guerrero, who kicked them out of the ring and proceeded to introduce AEW's newest talent, Andrade El Idolo. The former WWE Superstar came out and said that he used to call himself the face of Latinos. He is here today to say that he will be the new face of All Elite Wrestling.

Shortly after the former NXT champion made his debut on Dynamite, the company confirmed that he was officially on board with their signature graphic.

Andrade has not wrestled since October 12, 2020, when he faced Angel Garza on WWE Raw. He was released by WWE on March 21 and did not have a 90-day non-compete clause attached to his release.

In addition to his upcoming matches, Andrade recently challenged Kenny Omega to a AAA Mega Championship match at Triplemania XXIX on August 14.
