“There’s a great buzz going on in pro wrestling right now, it’s a great resurgence with what WWE has done and recently the AEW deal,” Silva told Sports Business Journal, referring to AEW’s recent media rights renewal with Warner Bros. Discovery. “TNA is a longstanding property, they’ve got some great personalities, and the idea is I can come in here and do what I’ve done at some other properties and really take a great foundation and build on it.”

Silva was hired from SeventySix Capital. He previously worked as CEO of C360, the maker of the NFL’s PylonCam, and CEO of the Professional Fighters League and its predecessor, the World Series of Fighting. He also held roles with World TeamTennis, investment bank Park Lane and NBC’s Universal Sports Network.
