Anthony Henry has arrived in NXT.
Anthony Henry, performing under the name Asher Hale made his NXT debut on Tuesday. He was defeated by Cameron Grimes in singles competition.
Henry is a former EVOLVE Tag Team Champion alongside JD Drake. He was part of the February 2021 WWE Performance Center recruitment class. WWE wrote about Henry at the time, "Anthony Henry is a standout competitor from EVOLVE Wrestling and has competed on WWE Network. He’s been in the ring with Superstars like The Street Profits, current NXT Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch, Nash Carter of MSK, and Roderick Strong."
WWE filed for the trademark "Asher Hale" on April 30.
