Arn Anderson On Scissoring: If Billy Gunn Decides That It’s A Cool Thing, Who Am I To Argue?

Arn Anderson has no room to argue about one of the hottest acts in pro wrestling.

The Acclaimed have taken weekly AEW programming by storm in recent weeks, as the duo, alongside 'Daddy Ass' Billy Gunn, have become massive crowd favorites. After losing to Swerve In Our Glory at the All Out pay-per-view in their first chance at the AEW World Tag Team Championships, Max Caster and Anthony Bowens went on to get a rematch for the Tag Team Titles at Dynamite: Grand Slam. In that match, Gunn assisted The Acclaimed in their victory.

On the latest edition of the ARN podcast, Arn Anderson was asked about his opinion on the scissoring craze that has taken AEW by storm.

"Well, I guess when Billy Gunn went on board [with The Acclaimed], all of us old bastards that had to [talk about how we didn’t get it], had to relent and just go ‘Hey, it’s working.’ I don’t know what it means. I don’t wanna know what it means, no I don’t. But if Billy Gunn at 270 pounds of muscle decides that it’s a cool thing, who am I to argue."

Anderson went on to give out multiple compliments to both Caster and Bowens.

“Well they’re entertaining, they’re a good team. They’re good looking young athletes. What’s really not to like? They’re entertaining.”

The trend of scissoring has seemingly went viral, as Philadelphia Phillies players were recently seen scissoring in their dugout.
