Asuka Looks Forward To Facing Kairi Sane, Becky Lynch And Shayna Baszler After Beating Sasha Banks

Asuka is ready to move past Sasha Banks and onto other challenges.

Speaking on a media call ahead of The Horror Show at Extreme Rules, Asuka was asked about her partnership with Kairi Sane and if the two would ever step in the ring with one another.

"She's an important person to me, I have wanted to pair up with Kairi very much. We have helped and encouraged each other. After I beat Sasha, I'm looking forward to facing Kairi," she said.

Though Sane & Asuka are former Women's Tag Team Champions, Sane has also expressed her desire to square off with Asuka, pending Asuka retains the Raw Women's Championship against Banks.

Asuka was also asked about Becky Lynch's return, to which Asuka commented, "She will be the first opponent when she is back to WWE."

Becky relinquished the Raw Women's Title to Asuka on the May 11 episode of WWE Raw, announcing she would be stepping away to become a mother. It is unknown when Becky will return to the ring.

Finally, Asuka was asked about potentially facing Shayna Baszler, who made her television return this past Monday on Raw.

"Shayna is a tough wrestler with good skill. We are both submission wrestlers. It would be tough competition. Maybe at SummerSlam," said Asuka when asked when she might face Baszler.

Before Asuka can think about Baszler, Kairi, or Becky; she must first get past Sasha Banks at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules.

Fightful will have live coverage of The Horror Show at Extreme Rules beginning at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday.
