Asuka Previews Her Double-Booked SummerSlam, Praises Sasha And Bayley For Their Athleticism

At SummerSlam 2020, Asuka has the opportunity to become "The Empress of Every Title" when she faces both Bayley and Sasha Banks in individual bouts for the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships.

Reflecting on her golden night upcoming on August 23, Asuka praised the athletic ability of the Golden Role Models, but she likes her odds inside ThunderDome.

The Rizzler Rizzes AEW Full Gear

"Sasha Banks and Bayley are great athletes," Asuka told TV Guide with help from Funaki, SmackDown's all-time number one announcer, who translated the interview. "[Sasha Banks is] technically great. Every single match with [her] is different so I have to be careful. And Bayley with Sasha, they're so foolish. [But] remember, I won the NXT's Women's Championship from Bayley so I think I can beat her again to regain the SmackDown Women's Championship."

It was determined on the August 21st episode of SmackDown that Asuka will face Bayley first as SummerSlam house was determined by a Beat-the-Clock challenge where Sasha was able to defeat Naomi but Bayley wasn't so lucky, much to the delight of her “best friend.”
