Asuka took to social media to show a picture of her knee, which is wrapped up and in a brace. She has on what appears to be a hospital gown.
In May, Asuka posted a vlog to her YouTube channel, saying that after the European tour, she needed to get treatment on her knee that had been hurting her for a while.

Asuka last wrestled at WWE Backlash, teaming with Sane to take on Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair. Cargill & Belair were victorious, winning the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.
Asuka was announced for the Queen of the Ring tournament, but replaced by Dakota Kai due to her injury.
It is unknown when Asuka will return to action. Fightful wishes her the best in her recovery.
