Athena breaks the record for the longest reigning Ring Of Honor Champion of all time.

On September 15th, Athena crossed 646 days as Ring Of Honor Women's World Champion, surpassing Samoa Joe's 645 day run as Ring Of Honor World Champion to become the longest reigning Ring Of Honor champion of all time.

Since capturing the championship from Mercedes Martinez at Ring Of Honor Final Battle on December 10th 2022, Athena has defended the Ring Of Honor Women's World Championship 22 times against the likes of Queen Aminata, Willow Nightingale, Billie Starkz, Hikaru Shida and more.

Samoa Joe's previous record holding reign spanned from March 22nd 2003 to December 26th 2004, where he was dethroned by Austin Aries at Ring Of Honor Final Battle 2004.

Athena last defended her championship on July 27th at Ring Of Honor Death Before Dishonor, defeating Queen Aminata to retain.
