Athena Says Lexy Nair Is The Valedictorian Of MIT After ROH Death Before Dishonor

Athena is proud of Lexy Nair.

At ROH Death Before Dishonor on July 26th, Athena would defend her Ring Of Honor Women's World Championship against Queen Aminata in a highly physical match. Towards the end of the bout, Red Velvet and Billie Starkz would make their way down to ringside, beginning to brawl. This would distract the referee, allowing Lexy Nair to hand Athena a microphone to use as a weapon against Aminata. Shortly after, Athena would score the deciding pinfall and retain her championship.

In a digital exclusive posted to Ring Of Honor's social media, Athena heaped praise on Lexy, naming her as MIT's valedictorian.

"Oh my god, guys. We did it. Lexy, you did so good, girl. I am so proud of you, Lexy. You did so good. Your plan worked perfectly. You did it. You did it. You are the real back bone at MIT, Lexi. Minion bestie, valedictorian. I couldn't be more proud. I couldn't be more proud. Good job, Lex."

Unfortunately it was not a completely successful night for MIT, as Billie Starkz lost her ROH Women's TV Championship to Red Velvet earlier on in the night. You can read more about that here.
