Aubrey Edwards made Karen Jarrett tap out.
Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal have been feuding with referee Aubrey Edwards for months, as they are convinced that she has cost them multiple matches. At AEW Double or Nothing, Karen Jarrett smashed Edwards with a chair when Lethal and Jeff challenged FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. The rivalry continued to heat up from there, leading to a trios match on the June 16 episode of AEW Rampage, where Aubrey, Mark Briscoe, and Papa Briscoe faced Lethal, Jeff, and Karen Jarrett.
The match turned into a heated brawl right away. Papa Briscoe got in plenty of offense, much to the crowd's delight. Aubrey took the fight to Karen, and she grabbed a guitar, hoping to get some revenge for Karen's guitar shot. When the referee wasn't looking, she turned around and smashed Lethal with the guitar instead. Karen tried to capitalize by hitting The Stroke, but Aubrey took her down and made her tap out to the Figure-Four leg-lock.
