Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) Signs With All Elite Wrestling

Aussie Open is All Elite.

The announcement was first made by Tony Khan on Twitter on May 24, 2023. Khan tweeted out the news moments after Kyle Fletcher lost to Orange Cassidy in the opening match of Wednesday's AEW Dynamite.

Both Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis have made various appearances for All Elite Wrestling since June 2022. Throughout their near seven year stint as a tag team, Fletcher and Davis have held the IWGP Tag Team Championships, the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championships, the RevPro Undisputed British Tag Team Championships, and the wXw World Tag Team Championships.

Mark Davis is currently out of action with an injury, which recently forced Aussie Open to drop both the IWGP Tag Team Championships and the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Titles on May 21.

Moments before Aussie Open's signing was announced, Fightful Select had a report noting that the team was likely to sign with AEW, despite having interest from WWE. Fans can subscribe today to learn more on the situation.
