Austin Aries is defending the title all over the world.
The self-dubbed "Belt Collector" Austin Aries is the reigning World Champion of IMPACT Wrestling. Aries successfully defended his title against Moose at 'Slammiversary XVI' and this upcoming Thursday on IMPACT TV, Aries will be defending the IMPACT World Championship for a second straight week. On the post-'Slammiversary XVI' episode of IMPACT TV, Aries stated that in order for a champion to call themselves "the man" they need to defend their title any and everywhere and against anyone.
Aries is living by his words as he has been announced for the New York City based wrestling promotion House Of Glory's 'High Intensity 7' show on August 17th. Aries will be making his House Of Glory debut as there will be an open challenge for his IMPACT World Championship.
