Axiom got to compete in front of his home fans in Spain on Friday's WWE SmackDown.
Unfortunately for him, he fell short against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.
Gunther finished off Axiom with a powerbomb, clothesline, and powerbomb combination.
In the match, Axiom kicked out of the first powerbomb while Gunther kicked out of the Golden Ratio.

After the match, Gunther choked out Axiom with the sleeper.
Axiom (A-Kid) was born in Madrid, Spain and wrestled regularly for the country before signing with WWE. Axiom is one half of the NXT Tag Team Champions alongside Nathan Frazer.
