After last week's Memorial Day BBQ disaster and asking Raw General Manager Kurt Angle for a shot at the Raw Tag Team Championship, nearly every tag team on the Raw roster was in the ring on Monday's Raw in a number one contenders battle royal. B-Team survived the match and eliminated Rhyno to secure a future shot at Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt for the Raw Tag Team Championship.

The Revival would then double team Viktor and throw him out of the ring to eliminate The Ascension, The Revival then dump fandango out of the ring to eliminate Breezango. The Revival work together to double team the remaining participants, The Revival go for the Shatter Machine and Rhyno interferes to knock Wilder out of the ring to eliminate The Revival. Rhyno attacks both members of The B-Team until Axel nails him with a DDT, The B-Team try eliminating Rhyno until Slater takes them both out. Slater goes to slam Dallas and he accidentally eliminates Rhyno to end the match.

Hardy and Wyatt have been Champions since defeating The Bar at the Greatest Royal Rumble event after Braun Strowman and Nicholas had to drop the titles after WrestleMania 34.
