Eddie Kingston is coming for blood.
For the entirety of 2022, Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston have been embroiled in a rivalry that continues to increase in intensity. Thus far, a majority of the combat has been based in gang warfare, resulting in the formation of the Jericho Appreciation Society and even the AEW debut of Claudio Castagnoli, formerly known as Cesaro.
The latest step in the gang warfare would see Tay Conti slam a door on the hand of Ruby Soho. Now, on the July 8 Rampage Eddie Kingston has demanded to face Chris Jericho in a match where the ring is surrounded by barbed wire and promises that the last drop of blood Chris Jericho bleeds before he passes out would be an honor of Ruby Soho.

The match was then set for Wednesday, July 20, the second week of AEW Fyter Fest. In addition to the barbed wire stipulation, the rest of the Jericho Appreciation Society will be suspended above the ring in a shark cage.
