Baron Corbin To Challenge Andrade For WWE Speed Championship On 7/24 WWE Speed

Baron Corbin will challenge for the WWE Speed Championship.

Baron Corbin advanced to the next round of the #1 Contender's Tournament by beating Angelo Dawkins on the July 10th episode of WWE Speed. His opponent was set to be determined on the July 17th episode, where Carmelo Hayes faced Ilja Dragunov. However, the match between the former NXT Champions ended in a time-limit draw. As a result, Dragunov and Hayes were eliminated from the tournament.

Corey Graves then confirmed that, due to this outcome, Corbin had a bye, so he would advance to the finals. Corbin will challenge Andrade for the WWE Speed Championship on the July 24th episode of WWE Speed.

Andrade previously beat Ricochet to win the WWE Speed Championship. He has successfully defended the title against Xavier Woods.
