On November 1st, Baron Corbin informed fans on social media that his time with WWE was up, writing, "That’s all she wrote folks. It’s been real and I appreciate everyone who supported me."
Fightful reported that Corbin's contract was coming up and WWE made the decision to not renew it.
Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reported on Monday that WWE had Corbin "at a Netflix commercial/filming shoot six days before he was told his contract wouldn't be extended."
Cobin confirmed the report on social media.
