Anthony Henry praises DEADLOCK.
Back in March, Anthony Henry suffered a broken jaw while competing in a match against Bryan Keith for DEADLOCK Pro Wrestling. The injury was amplified to the public eye only a month later, as Henry was released from his AEW/ROH contract while recovering from the injury. Tony Khan addressed these concerts quickly and brought Henry back to the company after he healed up from his injury.
As it turns out, DEADLOCK came through and helped Henry pay for the costs associated with the injury. Henry discussed this while going back and forth with someone on social media.
Hahaha a broken leg? No. It was a jaw. It was against a fellow AEW talent on an indie show. There was never a gofundme for this. AEW did not pay it, but I also did not expect them to either. Wasn't at their show. Your facts are way off.

Also, if you really wanna know, I have no problem saying it, @deadlockpro is who helped me out with the injury. Top tier indie promotion and freaking professionals, who are also great people. https://t.co/mWVp79VzeS

Henry returned from the jaw injury in May, competing alongside his WorkHorsemen tag partner JD Drake. Unfortunately, in October, Henry suffered a torn biceps while facing Gabe Kidd. Henry has yet to make his return to the ring.
