Baron Corbin comments on his current direction.
Baron Corbin was drafted to WWE SmackDown during the WWE Draft after a NXT run that saw him win the NXT Tag Team Titles alongside Bron Breakker.
Corbin is now split from Breakker, who was drafted to WWE Raw, and carving his own path on SmackDown.
"Triple H being in charge, he's a guy that really likes bad ass guys and characters that can hold their own and guys who, you cross them in the street, 'I don't know who this is, but I know I wouldn't want to fight them.' He likes that mentality and likes the aggressive nature of people. It's getting me back to my roots, which I love and I'm excited for," Corbin said on the Johnny Dare Show.
Corbin competed in WWE King of the Ring tournament, losing to Carmelo Hayes in the first round.
