With all of the major announcements concerning the women's evolution in the WWE, the one announcement that wrestlers and fans are anticipating is the announcement of Women's Tag Team Championships. The idea has not been hidden as WWE Exec. Stephanie McMahon alothe stars of the WWE roster have openly spoke about the titles being brought into the fray. There has even been fan signs handed out a live events and TV tapings which read, "We Want Women's Tag Team Championships".
The likes of Naomi, Bayley and Sasha Banks among others have all talked about their excitement about the return of Women's Tag Team Titles to the sports-entertainment company. Sasha Banks and Bayley have had an on-and-off on-screen relationship on WWE TV and they have went from wanting to tear each other apart to get to the top and now they are looking to climb the ranks as a duo. Bayley is patiently awaiting the arrival of the Women's Tag Titles and she stated during an interview with Planeta Wrestling prior to WWE 'Evolution' that she and Sasha will make history and be the first pair to hold those titles when they are unveiled.
“Yeah we’re friends. We’re best friends. We’ll we’re gonna win some Tag Team Championships that’s what we’re doing. We’re gonna beat The Riott Squad at ‘Evolution’... look, c’mon, I’m already a Tag Team Champion [Points to a pin she’s wearing]. No that’s just our next goal. We’re gonna be a tag team until they freakin' announce it and then we’re going to win them and we’re going to make history." Bayley said.
