WWE announced Bayley will defend her SmackDown Women's Championship against Nikki Cross on Friday's SmackDown. The match was originally scheduled to be a six-woman tag team match with Bayley teaming with Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose to battle Nikki Cross, Dana Brooke and Carmella. However, with part of the SmackDown crew missing the show due to travel issues in Saudi Arabia, SmackDown will be undergoing changes.

WWE issued a statement on travel woes preventing talent from making SmackDown, saying, "several aircraft problems including mechanical issues" were the reason for the delay. WWE insisted that Friday's SmackDown must go on and promised "additional surprises" as a result. You can view their entire statement by clicking here.
