It's been a week of highs and lows for Ben Carter.
On Thursday morning, Carter announced he tested positive for COVID 19. The announcement comes less than 48 hours after Carter appeared on AEW Dark and Late Night Dynamite on Tuesday. His match against Scorpio Sky on Late Night Dynamite had his name trending on social media.
Carter is not signed by AEW, but has done a handful of matches for the company. He's also wrestled for Warrior Wrestling and GCW in September.
Carter's full statement and tweet can be seen below:
Man. You literally can't write it. After this Tuesday I was on an all time high...an to be honest, I kinda still am. The outpouring of support recently has been utterly mind blowing and I can't thank everyone enough.
Having said that, I had some really cool things lined up in the coming weeks that I now have to back out of. All of which really stings.
But hey, I feel fine. I guess I don't really taste my food as much as I normally do, but I feel fine. For now anyways.
Cheers again for all the love that's been shown. I'm truly living my American Dream.

As reported by Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp and Spectrum Sports 360's Jon Alba, multiple AEW wrestlers tested positive for COVID in recent weeks. Lance Archer announced on Wednesday afternoon that he had contracted the virus, which took him off of Dynamite.
Fightful will continue to update fans on the situation as more is known.
