Scott D'Amore: PCO Left TNA By Making A Statement, That's His Choice. We're Excited To Have Him In MLP

Scott D'Amore discusses PCO.

The legend made a ton of noises at The People vs. GCW in January, as he smashed the TNA Digital Media Championship with a sledgehammer. A few days later, PCO did an exclusive interview with Fightful, explaining his exit from TNA and detailing his issues with the promotion.

While speaking with Fightful for a new interview, Scott D'Amore gave his thoughts on the situation, saying that it kind of fits in with the PCO character.

"That kind of sums up PCO and whether he's perfect creation one or Pierre, Carl, or a Quebecer, he's a guy who's been in the business, like we've talked about, for decades, who has an unbelievable ability to reinvent himself and is somebody who loves and is passionate about wrestling. I saw the footage and maybe it created a stir. It's not usually my approach with things, like I don't know if it's exactly what I've done, but it seems to fit right in perfectly with the with PCO and that. So I guess like he created a little buzz, so that's good."

D'Amore continued on and said that he tries to stay away from the negative side of wrestling before noting that he's excited to have PCO in Maple Leaf Pro.

"Me, I try to, as much as possible, deflect and stay away from the negativity and try to promote the positivity. So I know that PCO with leaving TNA and everything else, it was still the champion, so I guess that was his opportunity to kind of make a statement in that and he did it and that's his choice. We're excited to have PCO here and be part of these events and be the crazy, wonky, supernatural character that he does so well."

Elsewhere in the interview, D'Amore recalled paying a visit to the WWE PC. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
