Becky Lynch Is Back Full-Time After WWE WrestleMania 41 Return, 'The Man Don't Do Part-Time'

Becky Lynch comments on her return to wrestling at WWE WrestleMania 41 after a nearly year-long hiatus.

Becky Lynch returned to WWE for the first time since May 2024 by teaming with Lyra Valkyria to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 41. Then, "The Man" with a championship on one shoulder and her daughter in her arms participated in the media scrum after WrestleMania 41.

Shakiel Mahjouri of CBS News would ask her if she planned to take a part-time schedule moving forward. To which she replied that she is only interested in working full-time until she is done completely or at least takes another break.

"Yeah, The Man don’t do part-time. When I go, I go hard. I go hard until I can’t go no more, or until I take another break," she said.

Alistair McGeorge of Metro also asked her what made now the right time to return. Becky played into the storyline by saying that it just so happens that Lyra Valkyria needed a partner, and she happened to be there because she was watching her husband, Seth Rollins, compete in the main event of the first night of WrestleMania.

"It’s WrestleMania, isn’t it? [Laughs]. Lyra needed a partner. Bayley, unfortunately got taken out, we all saw that. There wasn’t much time to prepare, but if [Lyra] is going to call and ask for something, I’m so proud of her, of course I’ll be there, in a heartbeat. I was already here, watching my husband [Seth Rollins] main event in a hell of a match. I’m so proud of all my people. Lyra, my husband," she beamed.

Overall, Becky Lynch said she wouldn't change anything about her time away from the ring. She told Stephanie Hypes of Bodyslam.net that she enjoyed being a mom and helping her daughter adjust to a new routine as she started school and got involved in new activities. She also enjoyed being able to come back and immediately be put into a position to help elevate Lyra Valkyria.

"It was amazing. I wouldn’t give it back for the world," she said. "Getting to get [Roux] into activities and into school and having a routine. It’s been the best and the most important thing I’m ever going to do. I love my family more than anything. The thing that I love next to that is wrestling. To be able to be here and come back, it’s really quite amazing. Especially to be by [Lyra’s] side because she is amazing. She is so incredible. I told her this before I left, I didn’t know if I was coming back, ‘You’re my biggest hope for the future.’ We’ve already taken this women’s division and wrestling to heights never thought before. She is so dedicated and so passionate, so good, and so smooth. The world is her oyster. To be able to be here on her first WrestleMania, to be a contributing factor for her walking out of WrestleMania, Lyra Two Belts."

Seth Rollins was in the main event of the first night of WrestleMania and officially aligned with Paul Heyman, in a shocking twist. Learn more here.
