No reason for his time away was given.

Busick last wrestled at Beyond Please Come Back III: Beyond Wrestling Vs. Wrestling Open on June 12. He has been active on the Independent scene, making appearances for GCW, Beyond Wrestling, PWG, HOG, and more since his WWE release in November 2021.
