Busick was released by WWE on Thursday, November 4, 2021. He has a 90-day no-compete clause which will expire at the start of February 2022, and he is eager to wrestle new faces and get back out into the independent circuit.

In a brand new vlog released on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, Biff Busick named three top-tier names in the world of wrestling but he wants to mix it up with now that he is a free man.

Those three names are Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, and Minoru Suzuki. Explaining why he chose those three names, he would cite all three as influences and say that a Bryan Danielson match made it clear to him that he wanted to become a professional wrestler.

“At the top of my list would have to be Bryan Danielson. I've been a big fan of his work for a lot of years. After I watched his match with Lance Storm in Ring of Honor, I knew I wanted to be a wrestler. Another guy that I'd like to get in the ring with is Minoru Suzuki. I'm a big fan of Japanese wrestling. I've been a big fan of him for a long time, and it would be an honor to get in the ring with him one day. Another guy on the list would have to be CM Punk. He's a huge star, I don't think I would ever have gotten the chance to wrestle him in WWE. So now that I've been released, he's a guy that's definitely at the top of the list. There are a lot of guys I would like to wrestle.”

Biff Busick is already scheduled to head to Germany in March for the wXw 16 Carat Gold Tournament. Learn more here.
