Asuka has held the Raw Women's Championship for over 230 days and is a legend in wrestling, but doesn't have that signature WrestleMania moment on her resume.
Asuka's most memorable WrestleMania moment came at WrestleMania 34 when her undefeated streak was broken against Charlotte Flair. Last year, she teamed with Kairi Sane to lose the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles to Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross.
Big E is hoping Asuka will soon get her WrestleMania, leading to her getting the respect he believes she deserves.
"Asuka, to me, is one of my favorite wrestlers male or female on the planet," Big E told Busted Open Radio. "The issue with Asuka is she hasn't had the same machine behind her to make her feel like -- she hasn't had the same opportunities to have these massive WrestleMania moments as the others have. It's hard to put her in the same vain when you look at her track record. If you want to talk about ability and charisma, what she was doing during the pandemic era, she was wildly entertaining on commentary and matches. She's a generational talent. There's never going to be another Asuka."
Big E also noted that Becky Lynch's run as "The Man" is untouchable as he discussed his favorite female performers.
Asuka and Big E are both entering night two of WrestleMania 37 as champions. Big E will defend his Intercontinental Title against Apollo Crews in a Nigerian Drum Fight while Asuka will defend her Raw Women's Championship against Rhea Ripley.
