Bill Alfonso is "holding tight" for a potential appearance in AEW.
Bill Alfonso has been both a manager and a referee throughout his time in wrestling. As a manager, he has been linked to Sabu, Taz, and Rob Van Dam. All three of those men have appeared in AEW with Taz being a regular broadcaster for the company.
On the second episode of his Right Down The Middle podcast, Fonzie revealed that QT Marshall has mentioned twice that his name came up during AEW production meetings. When Fonzie asked Marshall if he should follow up with Tony Khan, Marshall told him to "hold tight" and that's exactly what Fonzie is doing.
"So I was doing the show for CCW and QT Marshall was on the show. He came up to me and said, 'Fonzie, I'm QT Marshall, I'm kind of an agent, I work for Tony Khan. Your name came up in a production meeting.' I said, 'Well, what do I do? Do I call Tony?' He said, 'No, no, just hold on. Just hold on.' I said, 'Okay.'
"Nothing happened," Fonzie continued. "A month later, I see QT Marshall again. He said, 'Fonzie, your name came up again in a production meeting at AEW.' I said, 'Wow, that's great. So what's that I do?' He said, 'Hold tight. Let's see what happens.' So, I am holding tight."
