Billie Kay Shares Her Feelings Of Missing Her Family In Australia

The IIconics only see their family once a year.

The two Australian wrestlers from NXT Billie Kay and Peyton Royce debuted on Smackdown last week taking out former Smackdown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair. They both left their home country together and came to the United States for a career in professional wrestling. On Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia, Billie Kay talked about her journey from Australia to working in WWE for the last three years.

AEW Continental Classic Matches Confirmed For Wednesday's AEW Dynamite

"Living abroad is an adventure in itself. While you have your dream career happen, while you're doing that with your best friend. What a life," said Billie Kay

The hardest part for Billie Kay is being on the other side of the world from her family.

"100% everyone at NXT is away from their family at some point or another. We're away from them but unfortunately we can't text them or call them because of the time difference. It's literally night and day. It does get hard and we still get homesick until this day. But they have always been my biggest supporters," said Billie Kay. "We've been back three times since being here. Every Christmas we get to go back. You miss them for a whole year and then you see a glimpse of them for like a week or two and then you miss another whole year," she continued.

Billie Kay spoke of her five nieces and nephews who she hopes can see what she has accomplished and will be inspired by it to work hard for their dreams.
