Booker T has high praise for Giulia.
'The Beautiful Madness' has quickly rose to the top of the women's division in NXT, recently winning the NXT Women's Championship despite only arriving to the brand four months ago. Along with her title win, Giulia has been involved in a number of highly praised matches during her time on the brand, competing against stars like Kelani Jordan and the woman that she took the NXT Women's Championship from, Roxanne Perez.
On the latest edition of his Hall Of Fame podcast, Booker T had a lot of praise for Giulia, saying that she's a pure natural when it comes to in-ring work.
“I just want to take a moment to talk about Giulia’s rise and what she did over in New Japan and in STARDOM, and now in NXT. You don’t make it as far as someone like Giulia has made it by slipping on a banana peel or by osmosis or anything like that. It’s just by hard work and how much you really put in your craft. Being able to come here here, and the English [language] barrier doesn’t affect her at all inside the squared circle, that just tells me she’s a pure natural as far as going out there and performing inside the squared circle. She’s so good at what she does. The first match she had with Roxanne Perez, I thought, ‘Man, this girl is really, really good.’ My thing is, I’m loving being a part of perhaps the greatest women’s roster in the history of all professional wrestling right now, and that’s NXT."
