Booker T isn't looking to be a special referee.
WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has been a member of the NXT commentary team since October 2022. He has also appeared in some interviews and contract signings.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast with Brad Gilmore, Booker T was asked about potentially being a guest referee for a match on NXT at some point, as a fan noted that he could have been a good addition to the feud between Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams.
“That would have been a cool opportunity, but I’m not looking to do any reffing or anything like that. I’m good just sitting at the table. If I was offered a spot to do something like that, I probably would do it, just because I’m a team player. I’m still in good enough shape to actually do it, so if the opportunity came, I would do it. But I’m not looking to scratch that itch or anything like that," Booker T said.
