Brandon Cutler has more scoops.
The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) made their return on the January 10 episode of AEW Dynamite. Cutler then took to social media to report that backstage morale increased following their return.
On the January 17 episode of AEW Dynamite, the former AEW World Tag Team Champions requested to be called Matthew and Nicholas, as they said it was time to get more serious in their roles as Executive Vice Presidents. They then delivered a heated message in which they referenced how the culture had changed in the company, and they had brought in some cancerous superstars. The duo also stated that it was time to say goodbye to Sting and everyone like him.
Cutler subsequently took to Twitter/X to state that sources close to Matthew and Nicholas said that they saw an enthusiastic applause by the majority of the locker room after the interview. Cutler also cited a source who stated that it felt like the Young Bucks spoke on "our" behalf.
