Bret Hart reflects on his return to WWE Raw.
WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart appeared on the September 9th episode of WWE Raw, which emanated from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He was in a segment with World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, and he was also shown backstage.
In an interview with The Wrestling Classic during the Vancity Card Show, Bret Hart was asked to comment on when he found out about the appearance.
“Maybe four, five days ahead of time. They called and asked me if I wanted to go down, and I was like, ‘What else am I doing?’ It was really special. I didn’t expect that kind of reaction. Of course it’s been a long time since I was walked out in front of a Calgary crowd," Hart said.
When asked about Gunther saying that Hart was second to his favorite wrestler, Goldberg, the legend simply said, "I think Bill got off light.”
