Bret Hart praises Rey Mysterio.
WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart faced many legends throughout his career. Likewise, fellow Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio has shared the ring with numerous top stars. However, they never faced each other, as Hart was forced to retire from the ring in early 2000 due to concussion issues. Mysterio remains active, and he is currently part of the WWE Raw roster.
Speaking on Casual Conversations with The Classic at the Vancouver Convention Center during the Vancity Card Show, Bret Hart was asked to name which star he would want to face today.
"If I could pick one guy, it would be Rey Mysterio. I always forget Rey Mysterio, but I think Rey Mysterio is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. He’s right up there as the best there is, best there was, best there ever will be. He’s really good. He’s really special. Nobody can do what Rey Mysterio does," Hart said.
Hart and Mysterio shared the ring one time; they joined forces in a six-man tag team match at a WWE house show during Hart's return run in 2010.
Rey Mysterio recently said that his body felt pain-free after stem cell treatment. Check out his comments here.
Mysterio will be in action on the October 21st episode of WWE Raw. More information is available here.
