Jon Moxley will remain GCW World Champion.
During a Twitter Spaces on Thursday evening, GCW Owner Brett Lauderdale stated Jon Moxley will remain the GCW World Champion until he loses the title.
On November 2 it was announced by Tony Khan that Moxley had checked himself into an inpatient alcohol treatment program. Moxley is not only the reigning GCW World Champion, but he was taking part in the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament and was scheduled to face Orange Cassidy in the semifinals of the tournament, which was eventually won by Bryan Danielson.
It is unknown when Moxley will return to the ring.
Moxley won the GCW World Title at The Art Of War Games when he defeated Matt Cardona. He successfully defend the belt against Nick Gage in October.
