Nick Gage was set to compete at GCW Homecoming on August 24, taking on Drew Parker in a deathmatch.
Before the bout, GCW promoter Brett Lauderdale addressed the crowd and said that Gage was not able to make it and he was unsure when he would return to the ring. He said that when he was ready, Gage would always have a home at GCW.
GCW has announced the Nick Gage Invitational for November 16 in Orlando.
Speaking to John Poz on the Bussiness of the Business podcast, Lauderdale was asked if Gage would be at the event.
"Probably soon to tell at the moment. We have a lot going on in the world of MDK at the moment. It would be premature for me to say whether or not he'll be there," he said.
Specifics as to why Gage missed GCW Homecoming weekend have not been given.
