Brian Gewirtz: The Rock Isn't Holding WrestleMania XL Documentary Hostage, There Was An Error In Promoting It

Brian Gewirtz gives insight into the WrestleMania XL documentary that has not been seen.

After WrestleMania XL Saturday, WWE promoted a behind the scenes documentary of the event that would show the build to the event that focused on Cody Rhodes, The Rock, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins. The documentary was scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, April 10.

Over a month later, the documentary has not been released.

Speaking on the Masked Man Show, Seven Bucks SVP Brian Gewirtz was asked about the documentary.

"Believe it or not, there is an awesome (documentary). The Rock isn't holding hostage until he has approval of every frame. I think there was an error in terms of promoting it so soon because it wasn't ready to come out. That was an error that was made. This is a doc that went from 11 minutes to 45 minutes and now it's over an hour. It's pretty awesome. It will be coming out, in some form, pretty soon, is my understanding," said Gewirtz.

It is unknown when the documentary will premiere.

Fightful will provide more details on when the documentary will be released when they are known.
