Brian Myers talks his tag team with Moose.
Throughout all of 2023, Brian Myers and Moose, otherwise known as 'The Most Professional Wrestling Gods', have wrestled in a number of tag team matches in IMPACT Wrestling. The duo currently hold wins over other teams like Rich Swann/Sami Callihan, Dirty Dango/Joe Hendry, and Bhupinder Gujjar/Yuya Uemura.
While doing a recent interview with Sam Roberts, Myers said that he started to bond with Moose on the recent Jericho cruise. Myers also noted that they didn't pitch the idea of a tag team, as IMPACT came up with the idea themselves.
“I didn’t know Moose going into IMPACT Wrestling, we’ve just had a very hello, goodbye relationship for like two plus years and then we did the Jericho cruise and our wives started hanging out, which forced us to mingle more than ever and we really hit it off and we didn’t even pitch it, IMPACT came up with us being a team. It’s this weird thing where we were already hitting it off as friends and now we’re like really good friends and I love tagging with him. I think he’s extremely talented, and he’s a star. He’s a star, for sure.”
The duo of Myers and Moose last wrestled on the August 10 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, as they teamed up with Bully Ray to face Black Taurus and Laredo in a handicap match.
