The Briscoe Brothers (Mark & Jay Briscoe) have spent their entire careers on the Independent scene, establishing themselves as one of the top tag teams in history through their work largely in Ring of Honor.
With ROH on hiatus, the Briscoes are free agents and continue to show up at various Independent events.
Given their long history on the Independent scene, fans have wondered how the Briscoes would fare in WWE.
"I think we could definitely survive. At the end of the day, you have to get in the ring and ring the bell," said Jay on Busted Open Radio.
Mark added, "I think we could survive and thrive. Vince McMahon likes money. We go out there and between those ropes, that's what we do, we would make the company money. That's bottom line. Not trying to sound cocky or anything."
Jay closed the conversation by saying, "We're very confident in our abilities. Especially right now, we're at the top of our game and anywhere we go, we're going to survive and thrive."
Later in the interview, the brothers were asked about possibly splitting and doing a singles run if that's what a company wanted.
Both men shot down the idea with Jay saying, "Nah. Right now, we're at the top of our game. What we can do in a tag team wrestling match, nobody else can do. It wouldn't make sense for us to be singles wrestlers."
The Briscoes are the reigning GCW and ROH World Tag Team Champions. They are set to defend the GCW Tag Team Titles at The WRLD on GCW in an open challenge.
