The ROH World Tag Team Titles were on the line at ROH Final Battle 2021.
The bout was made when The Briscoes (Mark and Jay) approached The OGK (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) following their ROH World Tag Team Title victory on November 14, 2021. A challenge was issued by the brothers and quickly accepted by Taven and Bennett.
At Final Battle, The Briscoes defeated The OGK to become 12-time ROH Tag Team Champions. They won when Mark pinned Matt Taven following a Jay-Driller and Top Rope Elbow Drop. The two teams embraced after the bell, with The Briscoes getting on the mic and saying that this is not the end for them and that they're ready to face any team in the world.
Just then the lights went out and they were confronted in the ring by FTR. The two teams who have been exchanging heated words online brawled all around the ringside area before they were finally separated by security.
Earlier today it was reported by Fightful Select that FTR was backstage at Final Battle.
