Britney Abrahams' Racial Discrimination/Wrongful Termination Lawsuit Against WWE Voluntarily Dismissed

Britney Abrahams' lawsuit against WWE is no more.

On Friday, October 13, Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics revealed the info on social media through court documents. In August, Abrahams dismissed the case against specific defendants such Stephanie McMahon, Vince McMahon, and other members of WWE's creative team. The compliant against WWE as a whole was dismissed today.

Thurston also noted that the dismissal is with prejudice, meaning the case can not be tried again in the same court.

Thurston also noted that he reached out to Derek Sells, who is the attorney for Abrahams, and asked if a settlement was involved. Sells did not anwser Thurston's question directly, but noted that the issue had been resolved "resolved amicably".

The lawsuit was first brought upon WWE in April 2023, as Abrahams, a former writer, alleged racial and gender stereotypes in scripts, as well as wrongful termination.
