BRG continues to get better and better.
Since 2023, BRG has been slowly climbing the ranks of MLW, competing in big matches against stars like Matt Riddle, Alex Kane, Paul London, and Jake Crist.
The company is clearly invested in the young star, as he's currently aligned with CW Anderson, Brock Anderson, and Bobby Fish in the Rogue Horsemen faction.
While speaking with Jeremy Lambert and SP3 of Fightful Overbooked's In The Weeds podcast for a new interview, BRG talked about his improvement, saying that he's completely transformed.
"Last year, there has definitely been a complete transformation in who BRG is in MLW. Personally, everything that you’ve seen has been premeditated, coordinated from the start since I made my debut all the way back in 2023. This year, you’re seeing more of my more calculated side. The Rogue Horsemen were a thing in the making for months before we even debuted as a unit. Everything was in place for months. Now you get to experience it in full. It’s been an incredible ride to work with Bobby Fish, Brock Anderson, and CW Anderson. The more knowledge that I keep getting from all these fantastic minds and this fantastic lineage in wrestling, it’s improved my game even more than I expected."
BRG went on to say that he feels like his psychology has improved, thanking CW Anderson and Bobby Fish for passing down knowledge.
"How I approach matches. I look at things through a different lens. On top of that, my presentation has been a lot better. Putting the psychology together in matches. I love to thank CW Anderson and Bobby Fish especially for passing down a lot of the knowledge that they have gained over the years and really helped push that into who I am as a performer now."
Then, BRG said that he's been studying matches from both CW Anderson and Bobby Fish.
"I would suggest, for CW Anderson, I would go back and watch any of his stuff from ZERO ONE in Japan. That’s a lot of the stuff I’ve been watching as of recent. I had no idea, because I got into wrestling so late, I find out a lot of things later on. I had no idea CW and Steve Corino did stuff in Japan. It’s been very fun to go back and look at a lot of that stuff. For Bobby Fish, it’s so surreal for me because as I was coming up in wrestling, I was watching him in Ring of Honor and NXT. He’s a tag team specialist and has been with Kyle O’Reilly for years. If you’re a tag team wrestler, I always suggest watching any of his matches, but it’s a crazy experience that I get to be part of their careers as much as they a part of my career."
Elsewhere in the interview, BRG talked about his recent honey trap match with Paul London. Check out his full comments on the bout by clicking here.
