WWE Great Balls of Fire saw an action packed final hour, which closed with a physical bout between Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe for the WWE Universal title in the main event.
As revealed on The Fightful.com post-show podcast, a source backstage revealed that following the match, Lesnar was extremely happy with the match and Samoa Joe in particular. Lesnar was said to be particularly thrilled that Joe was able to keep up with his physical style and was able to give it back.
Lesnar would go on to retain the championship.
