Brock Lesnar removed from cover.

WWE and 2K Games released the first gameplay trailer for WWE 2K24 on February 6, and at the end of the trailer there is an ad encouraging fans to purchase the game, which is available on March 5.

The ad shows off the various covers including Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, and the Forty Years of WrestleMania covers. In the current Forty Years of WrestleMania cover, Brock Lesnar no longer appears and has been replaced with a larger version of John Cena.

Lesnar had previously been pulled from WWE SuperCard.

On January 25, a lawsuit was filed by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon, WWE and former executive John Laurinaitis. The lawsuit accuses McMahon of sex trafficking, emotional abuse, and sexual assault.

Lesnar was never named in the lawsuit, but there is a reference to “a world-famous athlete and former UFC Heavyweight Champion with whom WWE was actively trying to sign to a new contract." The lawsuit alleges that Vince McMahon used Ms. Grant in a sexual manner to keep the athlete under contract with WWE.

Lesnar has also reportedly been pulled from creative plans moving forward.
