The closing sequence of the match was full of antics, as Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu showed up. Moments later, Tama Tonga and Tonga Lao also showed up, but Uso took out both of them quickly.

Bron Breakker looked to capitalize, as he ran around the ring and tried to take out Uso. Instead, he clotheslined Sikoa. This allowed Uso to throw Breakker back in the ring where he attempted an Uso splash. At the last second, Breakker got the knees up.

Uso went on to nail Breakker with a spear before attempting another Uso splash, with this one being succuessful. Breakker kicked out of the pin attempt, saving himself from the loss.

After some more shenanigans, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa were thrown out of the match. Uso got out of the ring and looked to nail Breakker with a running spear of his own, but at the last second, Jacob Fatu stepped in and planted him with a superkick. Fatu proceeded to drop Uso on the announce desk with a Samoan Drop.

Breakker took advantage of the situation by rolling Uso in the ring and clocking him with a super spear. Breakker followed that up with a successful pinfall attempt to win back the Intercontinental Championship.
