Bron Breakker still has a lot of work to do.
With four months still to go, 2024 has been the most successful year of Bron Breakker's career. After a brief reign with the NXT Tag Team Championships alongside Baron Corbin, Breakker was drafted to Raw in May. Only a few months later, Breakker shocked the world and squashed Sami Zayn at SummerSlam to win the Intercontinental Championship.
While speaking to TalkSport for a new interview, Breakker was asked if he thinks 2024 is the year of Bron Breakker. In response, Breakker stated that he still has a lot of work to do in terms of gaining respect from people in the locker room.
“I think I have a lot of work to do. I have a lot of people’s respect to gain, in the locker room and stuff as well. It’s still early. I think this is the year of my ascension or rise to becoming a main player, but we’ll see.”
Breakker recently put his feud with Sami Zayn to bed after defeating him in a two-out-of-three falls match on the August 12 edition of Raw. Learn more about the match here.
