Bron Breakker Not Worried About When He'll Go To Main Roster: Being A Heel Is Best Thing I've Done

Bron Breakker discusses not being drafted in 2023 and believing that his heel turn is the best thing to have happened to his career.

Bron Breakker has been one of the prominent faces of WWE NXT since the brand underwent its 2021 rebranding as WWE NXT 2.0. After spending the majority of a year as WWE NXT Champion, Breakker has turned heel and is still on the Tuesday night show, even after WWE held a draft that saw several NXT Superstars go to the main roster.

Speaking on the Cheap Heat podcast with Peter Rosenberg, Breakker revealed has no concern about not being called up this year and says being a heel is the best thing he's ever done.

"No, there's no disappointment or anything. Being a heel now is the best thing that I've done. I'm having so much fun. It's more natural for me. This is just such a better version of me, you know? I'm having the time of my life right now. I'm not worried about whether I'm going up or getting drafted. That's not something I worry about or think about. You know, when my time comes, it'll come. That's it," he said.

Asked about whether or not he feels there are parts of his presentation that he needs to work on, Breakker took the rather straightforward answer of saying his overall package can be improved and that he doesn't think he will ever stop improving.

"Oh, absolutely. I mean, I think my entire overall package can be improved. I don't think I can ever stop improving," said Breakker. "Some aspects of the game, it's just going to take time, take reps, take --just being a seasoned athlete. Just those reps, night after night after night on the road. That's when some of these things come, and I'm very much looking forward to it."

Shawn Michaels has previously stated that he hopes to wrap Breakker up in a nice bow for the main roster and apply the finishing touches in NXT. Read more here.
