Bronson Reed Says He Was Under WWE Contract A Month Before Making His Return

Bronson Reed made his return to WWE on the December 19 episode of WWE Raw, helping The Miz defeat Dexter Lumis in a ladder match.

Reed was released by WWE in August 2021 and had stints in NJPW and IMPACT before making his WWE return.

Speaking on Main Event Radio before WWE Elimination Chamber, Reed revealed that he had been signed to WWE about a month before his TV return.

"Not long, maybe a month or so," he said when asked how long he had been under contract before returning. "I had a little bit of time to myself just to get ready to comeback. The schedule with WWE is very busy, you're on the road a lot, so it was nice to have a month at home. Now I'm back in the swing of things and heading into WrestleMania season, I'm going to be busy every weekend. I'm very happy with that."

Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Radio reported in November that WWE had interest in Reed returning and Wrestling Observer reported a contract offer was made.

Reed is set to compete in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on Friday's WWE SmackDown.
